The Jessie Rees Foundation was, and always will be, inspired by one courageous and compassionate 12 year old little girl. Her name, Jessica Joy Rees, better known as “Jessie”. Jessie was a faith-filled, beautiful, athletic, caring and loving twelve year old girl who courageously fought two brain tumors (DIPG) from March 3, 2011 to January 5, 2012. She loved her family very much and her puppy Mr. Moe. Jessie’s compassion for others led her to ask her parents a short and simple question, “How can we help them?” Jessie was referring to the other children who were in long term, in-patient treatment at Childrens Hospital of Orange County, the same hospital that Jessie was receiving treatment from. After receiving the “go ahead” from her parents to find a way to help, Jessie created JoyJars®. She just loved creating these fun-filled gifts of joy to share with her peers who were fighting cancer and she continued to encourage them to NEGU®. NEGU, Never Ever Give Up, was Jessie’s personal motto and message. Today, after Jessie's death, her wish has lived on - last year 52,000 joy jars were stuffed and sent out, they supported 1,600 families, worked with 425 care centers and raised $3.1 million dollars to help kids fighting cancer.

Made in the USA – All our leather, plates, rings and clasps are either made or sold to us by companies in the USA. We do not source any of our pieces or products outside of the US. This adds to our costs, but we believe that shopping in our own country strengths our economy and is the right thing to do to support our fellow Americans, so we do it!

Long lasting design — Many of our customers still have their bracelet 10+ years later, and some people - while not recommended - wear their bracelet continuously including in the shower because they don't want to take it off.

Free Returns and Exchanges - Change your mind or the bracelet isn’t the right fit? Give a gift that your recipient may want in another color or saying? Just say the word and mail it back to us for a return or exchange.
We offer three sizes to accomodate anyone and everyone.
Small - 7" - If you have a small or thin wrist. We just added this size to accomodate our peeps that have been asking us to make a smaller size, yay!
Medium -7.5" - This is our most popular size. If you are unsure and don't have an obviously small or large wrist, then the 7.5" is the winner!
Large - 8" - For larger wrists, including mens sizing, the 8" is a perfect choice.
What to be sure? Measure your wrist approx. 1/2 above the knobby bone which is above where your wrist bends, add 1" and that will give you a good idea of which size works for you. If in doubt, go the next size up.
Still need a longer length? If you would like a bracelet larger than the 8" option, we can add links to your bracelet. If when you receive it and can do without the extra link, it can be cut off.
